Changing the Settings of Sitecore Fields

A Coveo field has many settings to augment its default usage.

Sitecore Fields and Computed Fields

For Sitecore fields and computed fields, these settings are set in the fieldMap/fieldNames element of the Coveo.SearchProvider.config file.

Fields from Other Sources

For fields outside of Sitecore, the settings are controlled directly in the Coveo Cloud Administration Console (see Add or edit a field).
